McManus and his partner and Yoga trainer, Norma Sanchez, have re-imagined the old gym model with La Misión Fitness & Yoga, where "functional training" with balls, bands, ropes and other training toys or props makes exercise fun again. Here is where small group training experiences (usually between 4 and 10 people) are preferred to the do-it-yourself model, as well as the pricey one-on-one personal training model. Clients of La Misión Fitness & Yoga have learned how much fun this type of small group, functional training can be. All agree: "It's like being a kid on a playground again!""
